First time purchase of a portable GPS. Really like it and easy to use. User interface straightforward. Verbal instructions clear and latest database is very complete. Only frustration I have with it is that when unplugged / on battery the battery remaining indicator does not show on the screen, thus you don’t know how much time you have left. Overall, terrific price / value equation!

The GO 930 hasn’t let me down in the six months that I’ve owned it. The 4.3 inch screen shows maps very crisply and the large size makes it easy to view directions while driving. The directions have been very accurate and I have not gotten lost once since owning it! I am most impressed with the IQ Routes feature, it gives the best shortcuts allowing me to not be stuck in traffic unnecessarily. This helps me cut down the time I am in the car. All in all, I am happy with the GO 930.

I’ve always wanted a portable GPS, and when the price dropped on the XL-S, I jumped on it. It currently resides in my wife’s car and she uses it constantly. It has good battery life when not plugged in, and makes finding locations extremely easy.

It’s refurbished, but I couldn’t tell. It came in a new box with wrapped cables and even a screen protector. I’m so satisfied with this product that I plan to buy a second one for myself.

This case fits the Tom Tom One Third Edition we bought well, but isn’t padded as much as I hoped or expected it to be. It may keep the screen free from scratches, but don’t expect too much impact protection. If you keep the Tom Tom in the center console this is ideal; if you take it with you, you might want to compare other options before you buy.

This case is very nice. Sturdy and of course the Tomtom One XL fits precisely in it. I did not think I would use it very much. However, we just returned from a short vacation. I used it every time we left the car for any length of time. Fortunately, I had it in this case when the inevitable happened…I dropped it on concrete. If it was not for the case, I probably would own a broken Tomtom. Great product.

This is a great idea. I REALLY did not want to put my tracker on the windshield and block my view nor did I want to mount it on the dash with the permanent disk that came with it. This is a good idea. It stays right where I place it without sliding around but I am able to move it out of sight when I leave the car so it isn’t seen. I don’t want to invite a break-in.

I ordered this from Amazon for my new TomTom XL340S. As with others, I found that I could not fit the GPS in the case with the EasyPort mount attached. This is no big deal to me, as I just leave the EasyPort mount in the glove box with the beanbag dashboard mount and carry the GPS in the case.

However, when browsing through Target the other day, I came across a case with the same name, but it’s different. That case is deeper, and zips open across the top. It’s made for the ones with the EasyPort mount.

So if you have an XL GPS with an EasyPort mount and want a case that fits the GPS with the mount attached, look for the TomTom case that zips across the top and is deeper. I can’t find it here at Amazon.

But if you don’t care about keeping the EasyPort attached while in the case, this case will work just fine. Fits the GPS perfectly, with nice padding to protect it.

She is computer literate but NOT a techie. On day one she made a six hour round trip on unfamiliar roads.
Her comments:
